When firefighters from Ogden Fire and Riverdale Fire arrived on scene, they could see smoke and fire coming from the front of the two-story commercial structure.
Firefighters then searched the building to make sure no one was inside, according to a press release from the Ogden City Fire Department.
Once the “all clear” was given, firefighters began their attack.
“Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire with a transitional attack, spraying water from the exterior as crews prepared to find the seat of the fire,” read the release.

Officials said the flames did not travel to any other building and no exposures were present.
“No injuries were associated with this incident and the Fire Marshals office is on the scene investigating though it appears transients had warming fires inside the structure,” stated the press release.
Ogden City fire officials said the fire caused an estimated $30,000 in damages, adding that the building was going to be secured.
The total response included 17 firefighters, two ladder trucks, two engines, an ambulance, a paramedic unit, and the Battalion Chief.
