Logan man killed in auto-pedestrian accident

LOGAN, Utah— A man was killed after being hit by a car Tuesday evening.
According to Cache Valley Daily, the auto pedestrian accident happened near 2600 North Main at 6:42 p.m. The man was hit by a white GMC pickup truck after walking into the northbound lanes of traffic.
Multiple people on scene attempted CPR and life saving efforts, the man remained unresponsive. While paramedics arrived and transferred the man to Cache Valley Hospital the man ultimately did not survive.
Witnesses told police the man was not using a crosswalk.
Police said the driver of the truck stayed on scene and was cooperative in the incident.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
