Storm advisory in place for two day snow storm moving in

SALT LAKE CITY— Storm advisories have been released for multiple regions of Utah as a snow storm moves in Thursday evening. The following cities and surrounding areas have a winter advisory in place:
- Provo
- Salt Lake City
- Ogden
- Logan
- Park City
- Moab
- Cedar City
- Evanston
- Richfield
- Manti
The storm is expected to hit around 6 p.m. for portions of the Wasatch Front and is moving south. This storm is expected to bring 3-6 inches of snow in most areas with up to a foot in the mountains. The advisory is from 3:23 p.m. Thursday to 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
Evening commutes will be impacted as well as morning commutes Friday morning and UHP advises drivers to slow down, keep extra supplies in the car, and avoiding unnecessary driving.
