SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — A family-owned music store in South Jordan had its glass doors shattered and thousands of dollars of merchandise stolen for the new year.
The theft at Guitars & More — at 10470 S., Redwood Road — was called in to police by a person headed to a dentist appointment who noticed the gaping hole in the business’s front doors. The store is closed on Sunday so it isn’t clear when the break-in occurred.
South Jordan Police Department detectives hope someone has a tip or other information about the break-in theft, or that someone will see brand new guitars and associated merchandise offered for resale will contact police.
The store sits next to an Astro Burger and across busy Redwood Road from a Harmon’s grocery store and a Walgreens. Police are hopeful the public can help.
Police said more than $15,000 of product was stolen and the break-in was not captured on any security cameras.
