DWR investigating shooting of bull elk left to waste

CEDAR CITY, Utah – Officers from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources asked for the public’s help in finding the person that shot a bull elk in Kane County and left it to waste.
The incident happened on December 12 near County Road 3035 on the Glendale Bench east of Glendale.
One witness told investigators two people in a black truck stopped in the area, one got out and fired at some elk gathered in the area.
When officers arrived they found the dead elk in the same area. It was left to waste.

Officers are looking for the two people from the truck. One looked to be about 20-years-old and the other 30-years-old.
