Ogden mobile home damaged in fire; four displaced

OGDEN, Utah — Four people have been displaced after a single-family mobile home caught fire in Ogden Friday afternoon.
The incident happened on the block of 1065 Wall Avenue just before 5:15 p.m.

When crews arrived on scene, they could see smoke and flames coming from the structure, according to officials with the Ogden City Fire Department.
“The structure was quickly searched, and nobody was in the home,” read a press release from the agency.

After a short amount of time, firefighters from Ogden Fire and Weber Fire were able to extinguish the blaze.
“The Fire Marshal’s office is on the scene investigating the cause and origin,” the release stated. “The building is being secured.”
Four people were displaced and “are staying with family and friends,” according to fire officials, and damages have been estimated at $110,000.
No injuries were reported.
A total of 16 firefighters, one ladder truck, three engines, one ambulance, one paramedic truck, and the Battalion Chief responded to the scene.
