Seniors, youth enjoy Sweethearts Ball in Spanish Fork

SPANISH FORK, Utah — Senior citizens in Spanish Fork, along with some youth, gathered Friday night for a Sweethearts Ball.
The event, which was put on by Reach Out Utah, included a live brass band and dance lessons.
Twenty four high schoolers from Spanish Fork came as dance partners to dance the night away with the senior citizens.
“It’s so fun,” said high school volunteer Cameron Rhodes. “I love dancing with the elderly ladies. They are the sweetest.”
The teenagers said this wasn’t just about themselves, but about putting a smile on the faces of their new senior dance dates.
