UHP troopers stop 30 vehicles in 30 hours for speeding in Juab County

JUAB COUNTY, Utah –– Officials with the Utah Highway Patrol say troopers stopped 30 vehicles for speeding over 100 miles per hour within a 30-hour time period near Little Sahara in Juab County.
The stops were part of a speed enforcement project for the sand dunes being conducted over the holiday weekend.

In addition to that, UHP officials say troopers stopped 198 other vehicles for speeding under 100 miles per hour.
Most of the stops have occurred along Interstate 15.
Troopers say this enforcement project started Friday morning and will continue into Monday.
