Two seriously injured after suspected DUI crash in Eagle Mountain

EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — A 21-year-old Tooele man has been cited after a crash that seriously injured himself and a passenger on Sunday.
Sgt. Spencer Cannon with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred around 8 p.m. on Ranches Parkway near the intersection with Geronimo Drive.
Witnesses told deputies the car was traveling over 60 mph in a 25-mph zone when it left the roadway.
The driver and passenger suffered serious injuries in the crash.
Cannon said the driver, Austin Miller, was cited for DUI, marijuana and traffic charges.
