Man killed in Wasatch County ATV crash

HEBER CITY, Utah — An unidentified 22-year-old male has died following an ATV crash in Wasatch County.
Wasatch County officials said they received a call of an ATV crash near 1390 South and U.S. Highway 40 in Heber City just after 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Heber City police responded and began life-saving measures on the single occupant of a Yamaha ATV until EMS arrived.
According to a release from the city, “a medical air ambulance was contacted and was en route to the Heber Valley Hospital. Despite all life-saving measures, the male succumbed to his injuries at the local hospital.”
The crash is under investigation and “alcohol is being looked at as a contributing factor.”
The Heber City Police Department was assisted by the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office and the Utah Highway Patrol.
