SALT LAKE CITY — A tradition going on 16 years at the Hogle Zoo will have some new features to the holiday light experience they call ZooLights.
For one month of the year, the zoo is lit-up with festive holiday lights, featuring scenes of animals and characters for people to admire while the wildlife sleep.
According to a press release, ZooLights will have new light displayes, an around-the-world themed scavenger hunt, and a 135-foot kaleidoscopic light tunnel.
The zoo is open for ZooLights Dec. 2-30, from 5:30-9 p.m.
For one night, flashing lights and sound will be turned off for a “Silent Night,” friendly to guests with neurodiversity needs on Dec. 27.
Tickets range from $11.95-14.95 and can be purchased at hoglezoo.org.
