LEHI, Utah — A Lehi man was charged Tuesday with sex felonies accusing him of transposing children’s faces onto the bodies of women in pornographic videos.

Jesse John Campbell, 44, is charged in 4th District Court with forcible sexual abuse and five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, second-degree felonies KSL.com reported.

Campbell manufactured videos of teen girls who are known to him and put their faces onto the bodies of women in porn videos, according to charging documents.

“I examined eight image files and two video files of evidence. These videos depict a male and female engaged in various sexual acts with the face of (one victim) realistically transposed over the female so as to appear that (the victim) is engaged in the sexual acts,” the lead investigator wrote in charging documents. “He said that he used sophisticated software to transform the heads of individuals on various pornographic videos. … (He) admitted to making at least 10 pornographic videos with children’s faces. I observed the (videos) on (Campbell’s) phone and the videos are very realistic.”

One of the girls also told investigators that Campbell exposed himself to her, would invite her to watch pornographic videos that contained young girls and older men, and would make suggestive comments to her, according to the charges.

“Based on my training and experience, I recognize this to be ‘grooming’ behavior; wherein an adult gradually introduces sexual and socially aberrant behavior into a relationship with a child with the intent to manipulate and abuse the child,” investigators wrote in charging documents.

Campbell was taken into custody on Nov. 16.
