Tooele County home destroyed in fire, suspect in custody

UPDATE: Law enforcement said they responded to a report of an aggravated assault on the Goshute Reservation in Utah.
According to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the suspect was sent to a Utah hospital due to burn injures. They have a tribal warrant for their arrest they are released.
IBAPAH, Utah — A home in Tooele County has been reduced to rubble following a structure fire.
The incident occurred on White Water Road in Ibapah Wednesday night.
According to a Facebook post from the Wendover Fire Department, the freezing temperatures created “many challenges” for firefighters as they tried to get the blaze under control.
The origin of the fire is under investigation.
