1 Dead After Crash Closes Redwood Road At 3100 South

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A car crash killed one person and sent another individual to the hospital Friday morning, police said.
The incident, which has closed Redwood Road at 3100 South, happened about 5:30 a.m. and involved two vehicles, according to police. One of the vehicles was broken up into three separate pieces.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the crash and are expected to have the intersection closed until about 10 a.m.
A second individual who was involved in the crash was taken to the hospital, but their condition is currently unknown.
