Kroger Recalling Shrimp Due To Possibility Of Contamination

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Kroger issued a shrimp recall due to products that may be under-cooked, and the company is urging customers to check any recently-purchased products.

According to a recall notice from the company, a variety of shrimp products could have “contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens.”

The recall comes ahead of New Year’s Eve celebrations, where finger foods like shrimp are often served, so it’s imperative for consumers to make sure they’re not eating possibly-contaminated products.
