SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Most of Utah didn’t wake up to new snow Tuesday, but residents in the west side of the Salt Lake valley had a different experience.
Snow showers had already dusted roads in the Tooele area as the storm continued eastward.

The commute was affected as the accumulated snow created wet conditions for drivers in the early morning hours. KSL TV’s traffic specialist Haley Smith suggested residents give themselves at least 10 extra minutes of drive time to account for road conditions.
Meteorologist Grant Weyman noted that children waiting at the bus stops may encounter some snow, especially if they live in the western areas of the Salt Lake valley.
