Officials Ask For Public’s Help After Man Goes Missing In Canyonlands

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Authorities at Canyonlands National Park are asking for the public’s help locating a missing person.
Jonathon Hogue, 33, is a hiker and a backpacker known to hike long distances, including off trail. He’s described as Caucasian, 5-feet 10-inches tall and 180 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He also has a tattoo on his bicep that reads, “Ninja Penguin.”
Officials are asking anyone who was in the area of Green River Overlook at Island in the Sky in Canyonlands National Park between March 10 and today to contact the incident command post at 435-259-4712, extension 23.
