LOGAN, Utah – Officials are asking for the public’s help as they search for missing 5-year-old Elizabeth Shelley.
Authorities are asking homeowners and businesses with security or doorbell cameras on 3200 South between Nibley and Hyrum to give police a call. Footage from those cameras could be crucial to the investigation.
Officers are also asking residents in the southwest portion of Logan to do a sweep of their property. Investigators said people should check their sheds and trash cans and look for anything out of the ordinary.
Elizabeth Shelley disappeared from her home in Logan sometime after 2 a.m. Saturday. Her uncle, Alex Whipple, who also vanished from the home, was arrested 12 miles away in a southern, rural part of Cache County.
Anyone with security footage or information is asked to call the Logan City Police Department at 435-753-7555.
