Hurricane Barry Could Cause Gas Prices To Rise

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Financial exerts said Hurricane Barry could impact your wallet at the gas pump.
Gas prices have already been climbing across the country over the past few weeks, and Barry led to may of the gas refineries in the Gulf Coast to shut down.
That could cause prices to spike as demand increases.
GasBuddy is reporting the average cost of a gallon of gas along the Wasatch Front is about $2.80. That places Utah as the eighth most expensive play to buy fuel.
