PAYSON, Utah – Officials with the Payson City Police Department said vandals have smashed multiple car windows with rocks across the city.
Sergeant Jay Hurst said seven cases were reported by Tuesday morning.
The city does have a snow removal ordinance that asks residents to move their cars at night and Hurst said it looks like vandals may have been targeting cars that were left on the street overnight.
Officers said nothing was stolen from any of the vehicles, making this a case of criminal mischief and not burglary.
