Police: DUI Driver Crashes Into Provo Apartment Building, Hits Gas Line

PROVO, Utah – A driver was cited for driving under the influence after crashing into an apartment building, according to officials with the Provo Police Department.
Police said the incident occurred Saturday and the truck crashed through an existing window when it hit the structure.
A gas line was also broken in the crash, according to officials with Provo Fire & Rescue.
Firefighters said tenants were home when the crash happened, but none were injured.
The driver was released from an area hospital after being treated for minor injuries, police said.
Firefighters said the scene was turned over to Dominion Energy, the Provo City building inspector and the property manager.
Displaced tenants were being assisted by the American Red Cross.
