Police Seek Public’s Help After Alleged Kidnapping In Kearns

KEARNS, Utah – The Unified Police Department is asking for the public’s help after a woman was allegedly kidnapped from her home on Saturday.
According to a statement from UPD, Conzuelo “Nicole” Solorio-Romero, 25, was taken from her residence in Kearns in the area of 4800 West and 5400 South at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 6. An investigation led detectives to a second residence, where the victim appeared to have been shot and seriously injured.

Police are looking for an around 2010 model 4-door Toyota Camry that appears to be gray or silver and a white pickup truck with a red or orange plow on the front. The truck was pulling a flatbed trailer containing landscaping equipment and trash.
“It is very important that we locate her. We think we can do it with the public’s help. Somebody had to of seen something. This occurred at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Kearns area,” said Salt Lake County Sheriff Rosie Rivera.
Multiple agencies are involved, including Wyoming law enforcement, because investigators here in Utah believe that is where they may have gone.
UPD said it is typical for the FBI and the U.S. Marshals to be involved in cases like this. As for Homeland Security Investigators, they are able to assist with identifying people.
Authorities said they are looking for a Hispanic male who was wearing a white sweatshirt at the time of the abduction. There was also a driver, though details about that person are currently unknown.
A security camera at a nearby home captured video of the suspect enter the vehicle before it drives away, though the scene is difficult to make out due to distance.
