Utah Highway Patrol Gearing Up To Find Impaired Drivers On St. Patrick’s Day

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – On the road to zero fatalities, Utah Highway Patrol officials reminded drivers that troopers are on the hunt for impaired drivers leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.
Their message started with a lengthy Facebook post on Tuesday loaded with St. Patrick’s Day trivia. It said 4.2 drinks are consumed per person every March 17. More ominously, the post said 60 Americans died in drunk driving crashes on St. Patrick’s Day 2016.
