Police looking to identify driver, vehicle involved in fatal Millcreek hit-and-run

MILLCREEK, Utah — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver and vehicle involved in an auto-pedestrian crash that killed a 66-year-old woman in Millcreek.
The incident happened at the intersection of Highland Drive and Luck Lane around 7 a.m. Friday.
Officials with the Unified Police Department said the woman was walking in the crosswalk when she was hit.
She was then transported to the hospital in critical condition, where she later died of her injuries.
Police said the driver didn’t remain on scene, adding that they’re looking to identify that individual.
“There were two vehicles who traveled through the intersection seconds after she was hit,” read a press release from UPD. “We are also asking for these individuals to come forward. We believe the people in those vehicles witnessed the accident.”

The victim was identified Friday evening as 66-year-old Barbara Anne Dwyer of Millcreek.
