Major discounts available for fifth, sixth graders through Ski Utah pass

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah’s claim to have the “greatest snow on earth” isn’t just a slogan — although our neighbors to the east up and over the Rockies might have something to say about that.
Families have a great opportunity through Ski Utah’s fifth grade ski pass to check out every single slope across the state, and it’s a bargain that equals an avalanche of savings.
Fifth grade students can hit the slopes three times at each of our 15 resorts, which means 45 days for $45 — or a dollar a day.
Sixth graders get one day at each resort for $45, so you’re still only paying $3/day to ski and snowboard — that’s a lot of outdoor entertainment for your elementary schoolers who might be just learning to enjoy the winter sports.

If you don’t have anyone in that 10- to 12-year-old age group, go to SkiUtah.com and there’s a list of other programs and discounts.
Each resort has various family plans and reduced rates to make sure everyone can have fun together in the snow.
In some cases, Utahns can pay for your adult ticket and children 10 and under may be free while a 6th grader gets onto the slopes for $3.
