Arizona authorities investigate possible homicide in remote desert area

MOHAVE COUNTY, Arizona– Authorities found a dead man in a remote area of the Arizona desert Sunday morning.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at a call of human remains found in Yucca, Arizona, near Alamo Road and Boriana Mine Road at 11:36 a.m.
The person who reported the remains said he was riding his side-by-side in the desert when he came across the remains.
Sheriff deputies arrived on the scene and found a large pile of debris, which the dead man was wrapped up in a tarp, according to the office.
Medical examiners will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death and possible identification.
