CENTERVILLE, Utah — It was a close call in Centerville after troopers said an RV left Interstate 15 and crashed on the nearby train tracks.
The incident happened at Parrish Lane, just off the southbound lanes, around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Trooper Nikki Vargas with the Utah Highway Patrol said the RV was not impacted by a train while stopped on the tracks.
She said the occupants only suffered minor injuries, but one was transported to the hospital with minor cuts.
Officials with the Utah Transit Authority held up FrontRunner and the far right lane on southbound I-15 was temporarily closed while the vehicle was cleared from the tracks.
Troopers said they were investigating what caused the RV to lose control.
