Multiple Crashes Reported On I-15 Near Lehi

LEHI, Utah — Troopers urged drivers to avoid traveling on southbound I-15 near Lehi after multiple crashes were reported in the area.

The crashes occurred around 12:30 p.m. Saturday near Lehi Main Street.

Multiple crashes I-15 Southbound at Lehi Main Street. Four crashes involving at least 13 vehicles. Minor injuries. Right three lanes are blocked. Please avoid the area until it is cleaned up.

Troopers with the Utah Highway Patrol said there were a total of four crashes involving at least 13 vehicles in the Lehi area. Only minor injuries were reported.

The crashes blocked the right three lanes of traffic. There were reports that traffic had backed up as far as Thanksgiving Point.

Officials have not said what exactly caused the crashes.

They warned drivers to avoid the area as crews worked to clean it up.

Traffic began moving like normal around 1:15 p.m.
