BOUNTIFUL, Utah – One light tower at Bountiful High School’s football field was knocked down and two others were compromised by high winds that hit the area Tuesday.
School officials said all three towers will have to be removed.

Bountiful is scheduled to host Woods Cross High School on Thursday to open Region 5 play. It was not immediately clear if officials would delay the game. They could move its start time up to avoid playing in the dark, utilize a temporary lighting solution or move the game to a different field.
High winds have affected schools across northern Utah — Salt Lake City schools have canceled class for Wednesday while several Weber County schools will be closed Wednesday.
