LOGAN, Utah – A Logan High School student told police he was trying to be funny when he posted a bomb threat on social media.
The threat delayed classes for two hours Tuesday morning while bomb-sniffing dogs cleared the campus of any devices. Busses were also delayed, although classes ended at their normal time.
Police said the dogs did not find anything suspicious.
“We are grateful to all of the law enforcement and school officials who have been working through the night to ensure safety of our students and employees,” district officials said.

The school made staff available to any student who expressed stress and concerns.
The student was found at his house after authorities found out about the Instagram post on Monday.
