Two in serious condition following head-on crash in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — Two people were transported to the hospital in serious condition Sunday following a head-on collision in Salt Lake City.

The incident happened near 420 South and Redwood Road around 7:25 a.m.

“Not only were weather conditions less than ideal, we are investigating this as an impaired-driving, hit and run crash,” read a tweet from the Salt Lake City Police Department.

Additional details were not immediately available.
