Utah man dead after crashing near Naples Wednesday morning

NAPLES, Utah – A man passed away after being ejected from his car Wednesday morning, according to Utah Highway Patrol.

UHP said the 40-year-old man was driving south on State Route 45 near Naples when he lost control of his car. He drove into the center lane, went off the road, overturned multiple times, and ejected from the car.

When fire responders arrived, he was sent to a local hospital in critical condition and airlifted for additional care. However, he passed away from his injuries Wednesday afternoon.

UHP believes that speed and impairment caused this crash.
