Car ends up in canal in Summit County

WANSHIP, Summit County — Officers responded to a car in a canal just after noon on Thursday.

Firefighters and an ambulance responded to the scene on Old Lincoln Highway in Wanship, according to the North Summit Fire Service District.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

Authorities did not provide the status of the driver or a possible cause of the crash.
