SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – Police have issued an “Endangered Missing Advisory” for a man in his mid-40s with medical issues.
Officials with the Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake said Bryan Royall was last seen in the area of 3700 South State Street Friday evening.
He had been taken from Wasatch Rehab at 3520 South Highland Drive to Liberty Dialysis at 11 a.m., and was scheduled to be picked up later in the day and returned to the facility.
Police said when the transport was late picking Royall up, he left the facility and began walking on his own around 5:30 p.m. It was not clear what direction he walked away. Royall never did return to Wasatch Rehab.
They said Royall has “several severe medical issues,” including diabetes, renal failure, COPD and mental illness issues.
Royal was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black shirt with white stripes. He was described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall and 185-190 pounds, with blonde or brown hair and blue eyes.
Officials said Royall had a cell phone, but it had been turned off, so they were not able to use it to determine his location.
Anyone with information about Royal’s whereabouts has been asked to call Unified Police at 801-743-7000.
