Family Of Missing Idaho Children Announce $20K Reward

REXBURG, Idaho – Family members of two missing Idaho children have announced a $20,000 reward for any information leading to the recovery of 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan.
Kay Vallow Woodcock, who is JJ’s maternal grandmother, and Larry Woodcock announced the reward at a press conference at the Rexburg Standard Journal Newspaper on Tuesday.
“You can’t tell me someone doesn’t know something about these children,” Larry said.
Larry described JJ as being his whole heart and pleaded for the public to come forward if they have any information, repeating, “If you see something, say something!”

Officials with the Rexburg Police Department said JJ and Tylee were last seen on Sept. 23. The Woodcocks said they last spoke with JJ on a Facetime call in August.
They described the call as “odd,” very short and as if he was being watched.
In December, police said the children’s mother Lory Vallow left the state with her new husband and refused to cooperate with law enforcement agents.
Lory’s former husband, Charles Vallow, was shot and killed on July 11 in Arizona by her brother, Alex Cox. Lori claimed her brother shot Charles in self-defense. Alex later died on Dec. 12 in Arizona. Police in Chandler and Gilbert, Arizona, have not released information on the investigation.
Lory then remarried Chad Daybell a few months later and the couple, along with JJ and Tylee, moved to Idaho.
Daybell’s former wife, Tammy Daybell, died in October.
Deputies with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office said they consider her death suspicious and served a search warrant with the FBI at the home where Chad and Tammy lived in Salem, Idaho, on Friday.
During the search, officials said 43 items were taken from the home, including computers, cell phones, journals, documents and medications – anything that might lead them to JJ and Tylee.
Officials said another reason for the FBI raid was to find evidence that might explain what happened to Tammy Daybell.
The Woodcocks said they pray every day and believe JJ and Tylee are alive and have no reason to believe otherwise.
On Monday, Lori’s other son Colby Ryan took to Facebook, pleading for his mother to tell authorities what she knows about his siblings who he misses dearly.

The Woodcocks thanked all the authorities involved in the search for their loved ones at the end of the press conference.
