Authorities Searching For Man In Alleged Millcreek Carjacking

MILLCREEK, Utah – Police are looking for a man in connection to a reported carjacking early Thursday in Millcreek.
The incident was reported at approximately 4 a.m. in the area of 3600 South and 900 East.
Authorities said the man held victims at knifepoint and forced them to help him escape from a gated apartment complex.
The alleged carjacker reportedly had the victims at knifepoint inside the vehicle and drove around with them in the complex. He then forced them to give him the passcode to the gate so he could get away.
Officials did not provide a description of the man, but they asked anyone in the area who sees anything suspicious to contact the Unified Police Department Millcreek Precinct at 801-743-7000.
