Police: Shooter Kills Owner Of Ogden Grocery Store

OGDEN, Utah – Police are investigating after the owner of an Ogden grocery store was shot to death, authorities said.
Lt. Brian Eynon with the Ogden Police Department said the incident happened at Super Groceries, 675 North Monroe Boulevard.
According to a police statement, an unknown suspect entered the store at approximately 11:50 p.m. Sunday and communicated with the store’s owner for a short period of time before firing a gun at the man.
The victim, identified as 65-year-old Satnam Singh, died at the scene.
Authorities said the suspect fled and ran northwest out of the parking lot.
Police are asking anyone who may have information or could provide home security footage of the area late Sunday to contact Ogden City detectives at 801-629-8288.
