Police Arrest 6th Person In Connection To Kidnapping-Murder Of Kearns Woman

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A sixth person has been arrested in connection to the kidnapping and murder of a Kearns woman, authorities said.
According to the Unified Police Department, Cristian Noe Morales-Gonzales, 26, has been booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of obstruction of justice.
Police said he was known as “the mechanic” and is accused of helping to dispose of the body of Conzuelo “Nicole” Solorio-Romero, 25, who was kidnapped from her home Feb. 6.
Police said she was taken to an apartment in West Valley City where she was shot and killed. Witnesses told authorities that Solorio-Romero’s body was wrapped in plastic before being placed in a landscaping truck, according to court documents.
Five other people have been taken into custody in connection to the case, including the owner of a West Valley City restaurant.
Solorio-Romero’s body has not been found.
