UHP Stop Nearly 2,000 Drivers On Spring Break Weekend

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – New numbers reveal it was a busy weekend for state troopers as many families hit the road for spring break.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, authorities stopped nearly 2,000 drivers, 64 of which were for reckless driving.
Troopers helped more than 500 drivers who were stuck on the side of the road, and they responded to nearly 170 crashes.
Unfortunately, four people were killed on Utah roads over the weekend.
