One Woman Killed In West Valley Crash

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Authorities say a woman died in a crash on 3500 South near 5400 West.
The crash occurred around 4:15 a.m. Friday.
All westbound lanes and one eastbound lane were closed on 3500 South while crews investigated.

West Valley City police said the woman was driving a black SUV and left the road, crashing into a tree.
The driver was partially ejected from the vehicle and officers believe she died on impact.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt and the crash is under investigation.
