The popular Chick-fil-A restaurant has announced a new location in St. George to open Dec. 7. According to a press release from the restaurant, the new location will offer approximately 140 full and part time jobs.
The new Chick-fil-A Bluff Street and Blackridge Drive as it’s being called, is located at 1333 South Auto Mall Drive, near the Veteran’s Memorial Highway exit. It will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed on Sundays.
With this new opening, Chick-fil-A will be offering some neat opportunities. In lieu of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100 Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Bluff Street & Blackridge Drive will be surprising 100 local people making an impact in their community in Washington County with free Chick-fil-A for a year. In honor of the location opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America which will be distributed to affiliates within the St. George area to help fight hunger.
The Chick-fil-A Bluff Street & Blackridge Drive will also be locally owned and operated by Deven Macdonald, a BYU grad, husband, and father to four children.
“For nearly a decade, my family and I have called St. George our home, and I am humbled by the opportunity to continue making a difference in the community that has meant so much to us,” said Macdonald. “With the opening of Chick-fil-A Bluff Street & Blackridge Drive, I look forward to mentoring my Team Members and showing care for our neighbors, serving them great-tasting food with Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality.”
