Police Respond To Call Of Shots Fired In SLC Overnight

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Police responded to a report of shots fired overnight, authorities said.
The incident happened at approximately midnight Sunday in the area of 1200 North and Colonel Drive.
Salt Lake City Police Det. Greg Wilking said a bullet was fired into a home at that location, and officers “got good information” on the suspects.
Police were able to locate the alleged shooters at another home, but it’s unclear if any arrests were made.
Wilking said the event was likely gang-related.
