WEST JORDAN, Utah — SWAT teams were called out to search a West Jordan business after an officer found a man inside the store. After his arrest, the man told police there was another person inside with a gun.
Officials with the West Jordan Police Department said an officer was patrolling near the Jordan Landing shopping center around 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
As he drove through the center, the officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked behind the LensCrafters store, and called for backup.
They say a manager showed up with a key and they got the man out around 7:30AM. They say he then told them there was someone else in there with him. They’ve been working to clear the store since then.

Officials said a manager came to the store around 7:30 a.m. to unlock the doors. Officers then entered the store and arrested the suspect.
The suspect claimed there was another person inside who had a gun.
