GOSHEN, Utah – Firefighters have stopped forward progress on the Goshen Canyon Fire, which burned an estimated 215 acres in southern Utah County.
Officials said all evacuations have been lifted and the fire was at 50 percent containment Monday night.
Utah County fire officials said the fire was started by a cigarette dropped onto dry grass in the area.
Thanks to air support, we are trying to get the brush fire out before it adds to the #2020fireseason. This fire was started with a cigarette dropped onto dry grass. We will continue to update you as we get more information. #utah #utahcounty pic.twitter.com/TkS5thXR9N
