SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The April 2021 General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held virtually, leaders announced Thursday.
It will be the church’s third time holding the semi-annual event virtually due to the pandemic.
According to a Church statement, the conference will be broadcast from the Conference Center on Temple Square, and only speakers and their spouses will be present.
“As a worldwide organization, we have an obligation to be good citizens and to act with caution as it relates to such a unique setting as general conference, which traditionally brings thousands of visitors to Salt Lake City from around the globe,” the First Presidency has said.
All sessions of the conference will be broadcast on KSL TV and the KSL TV app as well as streamed live at broadcasts.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.
