Woman Drowns In SLC Apartment Complex Pool
SALT LAKE CITY — A 71-year-old woman has died after police said she was found face down in the pool of a Salt Lake City apartment complex.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon in the area of 600 North and Oakley Street.
Sgt. Keith Horrocks with the Salt Lake City Police Department said officers responded to the scene around 5 p.m. after people reported finding a woman face down in the water.
Police said she had been alone in the pool for about two hours before someone spotted her.
Horrocks said she was already dead by the time first responders arrived.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
