Driver hits UTA patrol car head-on in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — Officials said a woman hit a Utah Transit Authority patrol car head-on in Salt Lake City Saturday night.

The incident happened near 1630 North and Beck Street around 9:30 p.m.

Carl Arky, public information officer with UTA, said the woman crossed the median and entered the officer’s lane. But Arky said she was driving so slowly that no injuries were reported.
