South Salt Lake Police looking for sexual assault suspect

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — A man is wanted on suspicion of aggravated burglary and aggravated sexual assault in South Salt Lake.
Police say the crimes happened near 300 East 2700 South.
They identified the suspect as Fredrick Allen Maes, 57. Police say he is a parole fugitive and a transient who walked away from a halfway house. He has ties to Millcreek, Murray and Salt Lake City.

Police don’t believe Maes owns a vehicle, but they say he has recently driven a silver 2016 Hyundai Elantra with a temporary tag. He may be armed.
