Man Killed, Woman Hospitalized In Downtown Crash

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – A man was killed and a woman has been hospitalized after a crash in downtown Salt Lake City.
The crash happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Temple and State Street.
Salt Lake City Police Lt. Dave Cracroft said it appears a vehicle ran a red light while speeding. That vehicle then T-boned a second car.
The driver of the second vehicle died. The driver of the first car was taken to the hospital in serious condition. She is expected to survive.
No identities have been released.
