Weber County Deputies Investigating After Domestic Violence Incident Ends With Shooting

PLAIN CITY, Utah – Deputies are investigating a shooting at a Weber County home on Wednesday.
The incident began with a domestic violence report out of Ogden and ended in Plain City, according to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office.
It appears the string of events began after a female victim returned to her home where there was some sort of confrontation between two men.
Two people are in the hospital, and both are expected to be OK, officials said.
One man was shot, and the other is a person of interest in the case who was hurt in the scuffle.
It’s unclear how the three individuals are related. The investigation is still in the preliminary stages.
